For Dr. Chad Billiris, owner and founder of Summit Chiropractic & Wellness Center, an upper cervical chiropractor, delivering thorough, personalized care was already a priority. With a practice focused on upper cervical and neurology care, Dr. Billiris emphasized careful assessment and attention to detail.

But one area where he saw room for more data was cervical proprioception. While he could often spot issues through clinical observation and experience, there wasn’t an easy, consistent way to measure and track it over time. That’s when he brought in The Neckcare System. It became a natural extension of what he was already doing—adding objective data and helping him see more clearly what was happening with each patient’s neck function.
“I know what I need to work on and then I have a very objective way to track their progress and see if my therapies are actually improving the areas that the patients need to improve on,” he said.
It became a part of his protocol. NeckCare helped him break down cervical issues more precisely—whether they were related to proprioception, biomechanics, or both. With that added insight, he could personalize care plans with more confidence and give patients real-time feedback.
Patients responded right away. Some were surprised by how well they performed, while others—who had been skeptical—were struck by how much the data revealed. For many, seeing results on-screen made their condition feel more real, and more treatable.
“Some patients think they did poorly and are surprised they did well. Others thought they had no issues at all—until they saw the test results,” Dr. Billiris said.

The visual nature of the assessments also made the overall experience stand out. Patients often commented on how thorough and educational it felt. That clarity helped build trust—and gave them a better understanding of how their body was responding to care.
“A comment I hear regularly is that it was the most eye-opening exam they’ve ever had, ” he said.
Over time, The NeckCare System became more than just an assessment—it started to play an important role in how he communicated with patients, tracked progress, and shaped treatment plans. As more patients had good experiences, they started telling others—leading to a steady increase in referrals.
“Patients really respect that I’m using tools like this to stay current and give them the best care I can,” Dr. Billiris said.
In a practice that already prioritized whole-body neurological assessment, The NeckCare System filled a meaningful gap. It’s now part of the standard workflow.
